History

Pasadena international church was born in 1989 due to the vision of the leaders at Thai Outreach Church. Its immediate purpose was to meet the needs of the new English speaking Thai-American generation, but ultimately this ministry’s goal is to serve the Pasadena area by providing a multi-cultural environment that welcomes all ages and ethnicities.

Mission Statement

Pasadena International Church is committed to honor God through a multicultural ministry by evangelizing the lost and equipping the saints with the Word of God for the mission of sharing Jesus’ love to the entire world.

Rafael Silva has been serving at “PIC” since March 2008. He grew up in Southern California but is originally from Brazil. After graduating from CSUF in 2002 he went back to Brazil to study at Word of Life Biblical Seminary in Sao Paulo, where he also met his wife Arami who is from Paraguay. After ministering in Brazil he and his wife came back to the U.S. in 2007 to serve for a year at a local church in the city of Whittier. Following this experience God led him to his present ministry here in Pasadena. Pastor Rafael and Arami have one daughter, Isabella.
